I have always been interested in sport and exercise. Many years ago I was an Aerobics, Step and Circuits instructor, then became interested in Pilates after having my second child and experiencing problems with my back and pelvis. I found pilates hugely helpful, and this is where my now long-term love of this fabulous form of exercise began!

I chose to qualify with Body Control Pilates because I loved the focus on establishing good movement skills in order to build a great foundation for progressing through the matwork exercises. Body Control Pilates is remarkably effective, and medically approved. Classes will teach each client awareness of their own body, and because of Body Control's precise teaching methods and small class numbers, I can adapt exercises in class to suit individuals. Each exercise is built around eight basic principles:
